Celtic knotwork design. The pattern is especially effective on black Aida fabric (DMC thread colours are suggested). Alternatively, use black thread for the outlines instead of gold, and work the design on unbleached fabric. Or make up your own colour scheme to personalise the design to suit your decor and taste!
